Still Point Interfaith Retreat Center, located in upstate NY, just minutes from downtown Saratoga, is open during the year for  private retreats, a day of quiet and prayer, group or staff retreats, youth retreats, business retreats and church groups.  At this time we cannot accommodate overnight retreats for groups with more than 5 people. There  are 5 fully winterized hermitages (cabins) nestled in the woods along with a large facility, The Welcoming House, for groups.

We offer several packages  for individuals who want silence and solitude: $75 per night with food included (2 meals are pick-up and 1 meal is prepared  for you.) or $55 per night when you provide your own food. You may decide to stay in the cabin (#3) which has no shower (Yes, there is a toilet and sink with  running water in that cabin!) This cabin 'rents' for $70 or $50 per night, (depending on whether or not you provide your own food). Those who rent that cabin use the large handicap accessible shower in the Welcoming House...a short walk from cabin (hermitage) #3.  The least expensive package is $50 per night: rent cabin #3 and  provide your own food.

We now offer 3 rooms in the Welcoming House for those who do not wish to walk to and from a cabin. There are 2 small rooms with a single bed and night stand and 1 room with a futon which pulls out to make the equivalent of a double bed. All 3 rooms have doors which connect to the larger eating and lounge area. These are available at $65 with food included and $45 per night when you provide your own food.

Take 24 hours from your busy schedule. Come to one of our heated cabins this winter. Pray!

Be silent. “The quieter you become, the more you hear.”

A Word From The Co-Directors

In her book The Wisdom Way of Knowing Cynthia Bourgeault comments on the role we human beings have in the creating of the cosmos on an energetic level. “When we lock up our homes and become obsessed with our personal safety, we generate fear; when we bulldoze farmlands and forests to build tract housing and strip malls, we generate greed; when we generate 60 hour work weeks and destroy family harmony to make big bucks, we generate stress.” The list could be endless and is somewhat less than enlivening.
Tuning into the news on TV or other media we cannot help but notice the global predicament that we are in today. War and civil strife in country after country result in the needless suffering of everyday people. Natural disasters continue to plague people from all economic levels but the poor seem to suffer the most. One could easily become utterly infuriated or despondent in the face of such suffering and the all-too-prevalent corruption which makes bad situations worse.
How is the Universe asking each one of us to respond to these ongoing situations? Better yet, what are we asked to embody in our everyday lives, in our very SELF? What energies do each of us generate through the focusing and living out of values either in harmony or dissonance with betterment of the
global community
?
As we become attuned to our TRUE, INNER SELF, we are prompted to embody certain values which in and of themselves build a strong, mutually inclusive and compassionate world. It is simply a matter of becoming conscious and of surrendering all self-limiting beliefs and actions to the LOVE which continually beckons us to expand. We then generate the energy out of which the world many of us long for is created
.

Still Point Retreat Center is self-supporting and relies entirely on our program and retreat revenues plus the generosity of our supporters for our continued success.

Individuals seeking the Sacred and in need of time and space away from their busy life are important to Still Point. We welcome people from all walks of life and spiritualities. In a world where division and suspicion of differences are rampant, Still Point is a sacred space where unity-in-plurality is valued
. Every part is essential to the whole.
