Summer 2010 Appeal Donation Form
We write, print and
mail the news/appeal letter and Weavings 4 times a year in order to have
flexibility with our program offerings, to keep people who are interested
updated somewhat on what is ‘going on’ here, to offer
inspiration for Life’s journey and to raise funds.
Your donations at work: roofing of cabin 3 including the old, rotting
porch roof, insulation of the double cabin's floor and the installation of a
vapor barrier over its dirt basement floor, painting of the indoors of the
Welcoming House, replacing the rotted roof of the side porch of the main house,
repairing of plumbing issues, water treatment system and upkeep, re-roofing of
cabins 4 & 5 (yet to be done), cleaning and staining of the exterior of the
Welcoming House (yet to be done), replacing the broken tiles outside the front
door of the Welcoming House and other projects for next year to improve the
Welcoming House.
We
are grateful to those of you who donate no matter when or how much you give. You
help keep Still Point going! There seems to always be something needing
improvement or repair.

STILL POINT’S “WISH LIST”
Nonprofit organizations seem often to be
in need themselves, and Still Point is no exception. There are a few items
we could use and thought perhaps some community members might be willing
to donate. Here’s our list of hopefuls
(which even includes items that get used up regularly like paper
products!):
:
Small tractor for hauling, plowing and other work
Wood Chipper
Snowmobile to keep the trails open and to access wood in the forest.
Wood fence railing to replace rotted ones around the pond
Crafts, art work and other items for Garage Sale
Volunteers to help maintain the trails and to move wood
People who will publicize events & programs in area newspaper.
